This is Tap. She has just lived up to her name and tapped me on my leg after walnuts.
I didn't have any in my pocket and told her as much.
I couldn't help detect an element of disbelief in this look. Shortly after she goes outside the door and shouts the house down for Treacle.
Treacle poor chap arrives to find out what all the fuss is about. This is Tap telling Treacle to tell me to give her some walnuts.

it's so peaceful. The new approach of sneaking the enzyme mash into the henhouse worked well. Peggy was the only one down from the roost so she had the mash to herself for a while. Not that she ate much of it, she's in the habit of racing out the door and foraging for breakfast, but she took a few mouthfuls before it got too cold for me to be outside. I assume she's had even more by now.
