I've got a chicken question and I'm hoping folks will chip in with some answers.

Is it true that a pullet grows her stiff tail feathers at 20-22 weeks?

I believe it varies from breed to breed.

Looks like she's about to take over the big coop. It's only a matter of time until you are forced to live in the little coop Shad.

Oh I had not the smallest notion of sharing my chocolate (I never entertain such appalling thoughts), nor of sharing Alice's pork. Just the feelings and the time

No, I'm just trying to get a stronger sense of Ivy's age. If it's true, then she's around 26 weeks.

Well this gave me a chance to reminisce so I did it. Here are Maleficent and Aurora at 14 weeks. You can see Mal has a couple of clearly pointy feathers coming out of her tail. Much earlier than I thought.
