I can't get Onagadori, which would be my first choice ~ but who knows. Some day someone might import them.
A standard male is 2.5kg, a bantam only 740g but the tail may reach 90 cm or more. They are very pretty.

I must admit, I've got a bit of a thing about tea sets and coffee cups.
There's a matching sugar bowl too but I don't sweeten my tea so it wasn't brought to the table. It's not real silver, only plated. But I love it. It was a congratulatory gift after my phd viva. There are a surprising number of cups in that pot. If ever there are 3 or more people having tea, the silver gets a work out
the pour on it is marvellous! Not a drop goes astray, a perfectly designed spout.
Excellent. That's the excuse I need to do one breakfast photo every weekend
