When these rennos are done I am going to put some serious thought into a chicken convention for the Aussie contingent. I don't think I can squeeze in international guests @ the same time....

How are your chooks going @Aussie-Chookmum ?

I think they are all doing well at the moment thanks MJ.

Tsuki laid a few eggs last week and Edwina has been laying every 1 or 2 days. No eggs at all from my blue layers Alice and Pepper.

Someone has been dropping shell-less eggs while on the perch. I suspect Deana. Still, I prefer that to the monstrous ones she was having trouble with at the end of last year.

They all come running to the gate whenever I come outside in the hope that it is free range time, but they will settle for scratch and cracked corn at the breakfast bar in the short term.

Can you send pics of them at the breakfast bar. It sounds very 5-star hotel to me! Are they ordering custom granola mix and specifying how many minutes to boil their eggs. Sorry, feeling a little punchy this morning but it did conjure up funny images in my head!
