MJ's little flock

To do list? Mine is, get to that tomorrow, this one needs parts, this one can wait, this one's not important. "Where is the TV remote? :old:D
That sounds very achievable.

Mine goes something like this

Win a big grant
Read and feedback on that proposal
Write a paper
Catch up on that committee's reading
Catch up on that other committee's reading
And that board's reading
Sit on two panels (this evening)
Chair that conference (can wait a day or two)
Manage that budget
Yikes, I haven't done what the boss asked me to do!
Start my promotion writing
Who on earth is that new person?? Check the email archive for clues
Eta: desk check those papers for that journal (v important Monday task)

Keep going, keep going...

And then one of my reminders goes off at 9am: don't sprint, it's a marathon.

I'll just add that i love what I do and I'm proud of my achievements which reach out into other people's lives. So there are no frowns but there's a lot of joyous hectic-ness :Despecially with all the amaaaazing music to listen to!

I'm a big funk and soul fan. I quite like Blondie and Queen but it's pop. Great for the Radio but not what I would sit down and listen to. I have albums from both but I rarely listen to them.
If I go out to listen to music I go to a classical concert. I can't listen to classical on my stereo.
I like some modern jazz and big band jazz.
I've got 2390 albums and about 70% are Funk, Jazz and Soul......just saying.....
So Harry Connick Jr then?

Let me see if I can redeem myself. If your feet aren't tapping you're probably dead.
Probably the greatest brass and wind section ever put togther. What makes it is the drummer has that ability to play fractionaly ahead of the rest of the band and that's what drives the beat.
It doesn't get any better than this.
That is great stuff. Well redeemed. :clap

Definitely outside MJ's specified timeframe (either way too ancient or too modern) but well worth listening - actually it is still going on in my head. Thank you for sharing!
They're actually a modern heavy metal Mongolian band. I don't usually like heavy metal but these guys are really good & they do throat singing which has such a unique sound so... :)

And another one bites, and another one bites, another one bites the dust!
Just saying.
