My cat Marigold does this as well. She must always dip her paw to make the water move and then drinks. Neither of my boys do this. I'm also wondering if doesn't have something to do with eye sight or depth perception...

That thought occurred to me too! And a little dirt on the surface of the water shows where the surface is.

Hi Grammy still busy at work. Four meetings today and a lot of catching up. That conference I chaired took up a lot of my time and I'm behind on several other projects now. But the car was towed away to the mechanic yesterday and my retired uncle has kindly agreed to hunt out an affordable option for moving a couple of pieces of furniture from my aunty's house to my house. It's a 2 hour drive and rather expensive through the professional moving companies. So that's two jobs off my plate. I'm also trying to clean up the house before Christmas day but I may have to surrender that dream. As long as the guest room is dusted and vacuumed and the robovac has run through all the other rooms. And I need to clean the bathroom too. Anyway... The Christmas gift shopping is nearly done, only three more gifts to buy. And the Christmas food shopping is nearly done too - I've only got to get the prawns on Christmas eve. I've probably forgotten something... Anyway writing it all out has made me want to get on with it have a lovely Monday evening!

Yes - that is what I have got for my friend. A glass teapot with a little trivet for it to stand on and some tea balls. I hope she likes it!

I make lists, use outlook reminders, etc... It's the only way I can keep track of everything.
