That sounds exciting, more things than just the run? Your having someone else come build it for you right? We did so many DIY things in Virginia, I'm not sure if we will ever get around to doing things here.

I'm hoping to paint and set up the small bedroom as a study. It all depends on how long it takes me to smooth the walls. I might use undercoat as well because the plastering is so old. Byt it'll be nice to move the desk from the living room at last.

We have a month's leave each year as part of our "pay" and we get less money in our "pay" because of it. If we don't use it up, we lose it, which is tantamount to throwing money in the bin. So I use it up.

I wonder what the leave entitlements are like in America? When I worked in the UK I got five weeks annual leave, which was pretty good! And I only recently learned that long service leave is an Australian thing!

It's the last day of work until February. There are five meetiings scheduled. I may hear news that the car is ready (if not I'll be without it until early January).

Turn off your work phone, draw yourself a nice hot bath, pour yourself a glass of something nice and listen to your favourite music.
