MJ's little flock

That's not much. I think the standard here is 4 weeks annual leave. Sick leave is separate & usually can be accumulated & averages @ about 2 weeks annually ~ or it used to. It's been a while since I've been in a traditional work environment. And then there's long service leave, which you get after 10 years, which is when lots of people I knew did their European tour.
I cashed in my first batch of LSL to renovate the flat I used to have in my pre-chickening days. I used my second batch to write up some research. My third batch has another few years to ripen and then I'll be taking it as a lovely long holiday 🌴🌴🏖 in the meantime I've got months and months of sick leave accrued. So I'm gonna be A-ok if ever I become unwell. I only take a few days each year and it's nice to know I'll not get behind on bills if ever I'm crook.

You might have to sleep on the couch. I look like having a full house but if your ok with that ~ any time. Let me know which boat you're on. ;)
I don't mind the couch at all. Any chance I could have a kitty to snuggle with. My big boy Davis sleeps next to me every night. It is very comforting.

There's usually @ least one cat slung over the back of the couch ;) . The other is usually upstairs smooching with me. So long as they decide you are friendly your chances are good.

Can't wait. I hope I'm not without the car for too long because I have some diy planned and will need to go back and forth from the hardware store.
I've got the car back! 🚗 toot toot! Picked it up late yesterday. It's good as gold now and they washed it for me too!

The clutch cylinders weren't working because the o-rings were old and no longer making a seal, so no fluid was going in.

It's a relief to have it back again. I did the gift shopping immediately. There's still one more gift to get today and a few other little things, and I've got some house cleaning to do, but otherwise I'm ready for Christmas!
