Yes, that is a problem. But sometimes the cats look so comfy I just have to join them!I can't nap during the day. If I did, I'd be up all night thinking about stupid projects!Or on BYC.

They do! I can holler at most of my Roosters and if I use their names, they know who I’m scolding... I have Roostie trained to “bring the girls” and they are quite capabale if understanding certain phrases. Granted a lot of what I say to them is quite “colorful”Hmmmm i mistakenly called Janet "Mary" yesterday and she gave me a surprised and hurt look so I apologised. Am I spending toomuch time in the sun or has she learned her name??
She’s saying, “oh please, I am way better-looking than that hussy”!Well she did hop down, but didn't read the book. Should I be offended?

Maybe she was thinking "Nah. I know all that already" ?
Well, you’re also not trying to raise a small flock in a suburban backyard with anti Rooster laws, so we are both at an advantage there. A flock of 3 is bound to make a chickeneer a little more particular in gender discrimination! And the number of “stealth roosters” I’ve seen hiding their gender until the last moment... lol one of Hawks boys didn’t Crow or have clear saddle feathers for a full year!Well, it's not something I know about.
I don't worry about what breed they are, or what sex. You can't do anything about it anyway.![]()
Maybe he should show up with flowers and take them out to dinner. That's him! (His ladies won't "Put out")![]()
I go out and say “BAWWWK” and they all gather round.Mine are as discerning as I am regarding chicken breeds; they all respond immediately to a cry of 'CHICKENS!'. I find 'snacks' also seems to work.![]()
He tidbits for them, each time I have treats out. And he always lets them eat first. (He's a real gentleman)They are just bi#$%ches, I guess.Maybe he should show up with flowers and take them out to dinner.
It could just be that time of the year for them... my girls have all also been less interested in their boys latelyHe tidbits for them, each time I have treats out. And he always lets them eat first. (He's a real gentleman)They are just bi#$%ches, I guess.![]()
Could also be, that he’s a bantam (smaller than any of them )It could just be that time of the year for them... my girls have all also been less interested in their boys lately
But that doesn’t stop him from trying!Could also be, that he’s a bantam (smaller than any of them )
