It has the amateur feel of a school magazine. It's a lovely bit of history.
I believe they have an original copy in the Australian War Memorial in Canberra.

He's attacked me four times today. I've swept him off his feet twice.
The last attack Punch saw and gave him a right telling off.

So maybe I don't like him so much. What is causing him to act up?

I've been for an early swim today and now my skin has a chill in it a good start to a very hot day!

For the hens, I've put the hose in their coolest spot and turned it on to a tiny trickle ahich I hope will give them some relief. They can come into the back porch if they'd like a cool breeze from the aircon. And I'll ice their water throughout the day. These seem like nicer options than cooping them under the mist.

I find it is always good to give them choices. Good thinking.

I don’t look at it very often, but I have read a story to my son, about a dog called Bingo and his lizard friend, Tishy.

I don't have any that old. I can't decide if I would be too nervous to read it or not.

My friends decided to be inside today.

Two poops were dropped but thoughtfully on the floorboards and not on carpet or rugs.

I haven't had a good browse through it in quite some time but I remember the Trenches humour. I'll have to leaf through it again.

I remember borrowing a similar book from the library when I was in High School. It had contributions from several of the Allied forces. I wish I could remember what it was called.

My book is an annual of children’s stories. They’re whole stories broken up into chapters throughout the annual, with comics and ads scattered throughout. It was printed in 1914.
