That's looking good. You could probably trim off the lowest layers of branches at the trunk to encourage upward growth and give it a good mulch, water and a feed of seasol. With any luck it may top the Funrun by the end of the growing season.

I think I'll just put my old garden bench in here. If there wasn't much space, I'd definitely add a fold down bench.

Remember the point of a fold down bench is poo prevention not space savings.
