MJ's little flock

Hi Grammy :frow how are your various injuries going? Have the bruises faded away? How's the wrist feeling?

Eta I just found my answer on Ribh's thread!

Thanks for making me laugh, even if I shouldn't about this 😅. Bruises are gone, and yes the knee and hip still give me trouble. In most cases, I have little or no warning my knee is going out. Living in the boonies makes it hard to get to therapy, so I've had to cancel my last two visits, due to no car. If we have his truck back before Friday I can still go for that one.

What a shame they don't do home visits!

The temp is going up to 38c today, which is around 100f.

I've got to spend the morning away from home.

The hens are in the funrun. I've left the hose trickling under their shady tables so that a cool muddy patch will develop. There's plenty of drinking water too.

I hope they'll be ok. Mary especially, because she sort of melts in the heat.

I'll be home just after noon, so I'll be able to ice the drinking water at that point.

I'm sure they'll be fine.

Oh, MJ! That is so worrying! I'm sure they'll be just fine but I hate when the temps go that high. We've been blessed with a wet mild summer so far. The girls really appreciate it. They hate the super hot weather.

"I can see that"

Of all the filters, the sad kitten!

Do you know, after I stopped laughing (I needed a break because my cheeks were sore), I went on zoom and found out how to turn the filters off just in case I'm ever unexpectedly gazumped.
Now that is smart! Learning through other's misfortune.
