I guess one advantage of a jacaranda is that it'll drop pods and stems which will be less likely to clump.Only it won't work once a pile has got wet. It sticks to the wire like glue.

I have a Poinciana. The fine leaves squidgy together with the pods & sticks & make gluggy nests. If we ever find the time I want the man to change the angles of the rooves slightly so everything will @ least wash downhill instead of forming blockout masses on the roof.I guess one advantage of a jacaranda is that it'll drop pods and stems which will be less likely to clump.
Why the change to dogs? Do you have specific breeds in mind?Chippy the dog did a great favour opening up that doorway - it's been perfect for him, three cats and now one chicken!
But I'll have a pair of dogs after Blossom and the door will be fixed before they arrive. So Janet and her proteges will be in for a surprise one day!
Exactly! So true! Brings to mind my recent adventure with the rat/mouse/marsupial(?)![]()
I like this idea better!Or a leaf blower?
For exercise. Daily walkies will be good for me.Why the change to dogs? Do you have specific breeds in mind?
I'll probably end up trying both to see which is best. I don't know if a leaf blower will lift the seed podsI like this idea better!![]()
Will you consider a rescue? For exercise. Daily walkies will be good for me.
I've had many conversations about breeds and the upshot is breeding doesn't influence behavior as much as training. So I'll get a pair of pups, take them to doggy school and try to induct them into chicken life. I'm thinking smallish, slow dogs. I may take a few months off to be present while they grow and learn.
I always do. But not in this case. Will you consider a rescue?
