I am trying to be more deliberate about it. I took time for tea this afternoon for example.Doing nothing is an art not easily mastered.
Many of the people I knew in the UK and quite a few here find doing nothing. just being, almost impossible.I am trying to be more deliberate about it. I took time for tea this afternoon for example.
I find being silent & doing nothing comes naturally! Many of the people I knew in the UK and quite a few here find doing nothing. just being, almost impossible.
It's a bit like being silent. Some people seem to think they disappear if they are not saying something, or making some sounds. The people here used to wander around humming and whistling, completely toneless and tuneless, just a habit, some sort of self reassurance I think. It used to drive me potty!
Nothing happens if one does nothing. Seems obvious. The world still turns.
If we all did less the world would be a better place imo.![]()
Really? Do tell.I find being silent & doing nothing comes naturally! There are some quite serious problems that come with this mind set though!
