Good grief! I'd be a cot case for a week! What on earth is Taco Cat?

It's a card game which is a fancy type of Snap, but the winner has no cards.

It's funny because it's so fast that people make silly mistakes and it gets the laughter going, eg I did gorilla when I should've done Groundhog

So I've just heard a friend has died. She had GBM. Diagnosed years and years ago, so she had way more time than most folks. She had two surgeries since the diagnosis and various treatments. She leaves an amazing husband and two children. She made her home and family in Hobart, so I guess I'm heading to Tassie for her funeral (I don't have the details yet). I will remember her as a shining person, singing out front of her band, huddling around a computer screen, eating chocolate, watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer, writing insightful papers, cuddling her kids, and getting married.

I’m sorry about your friend MJ. I had to look GBM up. It’s a type of brain tumour, is that right? She did well to keep going for years and years.
I hope there aren’t any new lockdowns so you can travel to Tassie to farewell her .

GBM is nasty and we were lucky to have her as long as we did. I didn't even think of lockdowns! Yikes.

Good evening MJ and everyone

Good morning How's your Sunday going? Is it peaceful? I've had a busy weekend because it was my turn to host the monthly games night, so I cleaned and cooked all day Saturday and had a fantastic night with six chums. We played Taco Cat for the first time and were weeping with laughter! That game is so simple and so funny! Then I cleaned up again on Sunday, visited my cousin and played with her kids before taking a beach walk with the neighbour. I'm glad it's Monday because, compared to the weekend, work will feel like rest

Our daughter surprised us with a visit with the grandkids and stayed the weekend . Our grandson turns 15 on the 15th, so we celebrated early . It was a crazy, loud weekend and we wouldn't change a thing !!

My deepest sympathies. It is never easy to lose someone.
