What do you think of this sort of thing?

It's 2.26 x 0.78 x 1.31m. I think that might be enough for coop storage

I think it would work, and shouldn’t take up too much space in the fun run.

That looks pretty good. I had a similar thing (much smaller, but same idea) for ages before I had a garden shed. It was pretty good. It kept water out but it did not keep mice out. So you should probably keep food in metal bins inside.

I'll move the metal bins from where they are at present into the new storage. It would be a shame to waste the feed bins just because there's a new storage area.

Sounds like an excellent plan. I must say that one of the best things I did in designing the Chicken Palace was having the servants' quarters for storage. Having the chicken stuff close to the chickens is a big help.
