MJ's little flock

Well. I think she's close to death. I still made her take 10ml of liquid food.

I'll take her to a vet today to release her from her suffering.

I'm not in the right mind for thinking it through, but I'm pretty sure the pinches of bread crust killed her.

I'm so sorry MJ. :hit :hugs

It's almost an hour and a half later and she now weighs 770g.

We're now waiting at the vet hospital and I'll make sure to double check everything before she's put to sleep. Maybe she should try crumbles first?

It'll be at least a 30 minute wait, so at least she'll have some time to digest this morning's food before another weighing.

So sorry. It really is tough.

Obliging Lorna to take a car ride and sit in an unfamiliar environment with dogs snuffling outside the door feels like an additional cruelty. I wish I had the courage to do it myself at her home where she feels safe.
Maybe you can persuade them to let you sit in a quiet room to wait.

Oh poor girl. She does look quite poorly.
Give her some cuddles and talk softly to her so she knows you are there and she isn’t alone.
She knows. I'm not touching her but I've taken my mask off and have been making eye contact and blinking slowly to give her a little ease.
