Announcement Mobile Update: Fixed Search / Search Thread

I just made a change to our top navigation for mobile users to hopefully solve the problem of not being able to search within threads.

Now the "Search" icon (magnifying glass) is fixed so it is always on-screen. If you click on it, it will bring up the search box and give you the options to search with a few options including "Search this thread only"

Please play around with this feature and let us know how it works and if you have any questions or problems.

Keep in mind that it's VERY difficult to design for every mobile device, screensize, browser, version, etc., but hopefully this change will not cause any other problems... but if it does, reply with:

1. Description of the problem
2. Device model
3. Browser
4. Screenshot

I'm on an Android..Can't find model info but will keep looking.
Since the search icon has been added I've lost my email and alert icon unless I turn my phone sideways but then I can't comment without turning my phone upright again. I can manage but it's just alot of flipping back and forth..

Thanks for letting us know. Do try to figure out which phone you have, browser you're using, and if you can post a screenshot, that will be very helpful.

Ok, we're looking into this. It seems it's an issue with the smaller of screens.

While we look for a fix, anybody that is missing their inbox/alerts can access them by clicking the account icon:

Strangely, while the page is refreshing, they all show, but once the page loads, they shift.

That's exactly how mine looks. I've been doing that but sometimes it goes wonky..Not sure how else to describe it. lol
Chrome is my browser btw. Still looking for the phone info.
