To get rid of a box like that, I just click anywhere else, outside that box. It disappears.

You can use the code for the emojis, or click the smiley face in the buttons above where you are typing a reply, and a box expands, showing all the emojis. It's not a pop-up, it adds an extra box under the reply box. Just have to be careful where your cursor is when you click on the emoji to insert it.
(I use codes more often they are easier. There is a thread on those somewhere.)

Yes I do understand how to use everything on the site, but rather I'm suggesting editing things a little to be more universal in functionality with other mobile sites and apps. Happy Friday everyone!!

I'll be honest. I've lost a lot of interest in the site since the change. I don't have time to relearn the sight. Seems much more complicated.

Ok, based on feedback we've received in this thread & usage statistics, we've made a few changes:

The icon for mobile users that looks like a chat bubble now links directly to the main forum list.

The sub-navigation items under "Forum" are now the most used 3 items, with the option to expand the list:

We hope this makes using BYC even easier!
