I have a white roo too, LOL....I don't know why they get more boys or at least the boys seem hardier than the gals until a certain age... hehe....
Also people are so afraid to try them as a flock chicken..... they are such great birds, it's a shame.

We will be bringing 3 silkie cockerels. All of them are beautiful...we just can't keep them all. They are all now breeding the girls, so you won't have to wait for them to grow up.

One is a gorgeous black, but has a single comb. I did some research and the split comb is recessive to the walnut comb but does occasionally pop up in silkies. Bred to walnut comb girls, he should not throw the single comb.

One is a lovely dark blue. Has a very slight curve to his beak...not cross beaked...just a small curve.

One is a very nice black that is from a split lav. hen. Just a super looking cockerel.

I HAVE to pare down to 2-3 boys. I've kept these three because they were such nice birds and finally settled on the three that I'm keeping, so these boys need some girls of their own.

I'm asking $25 each. We'll have our sign that says Three Cedar Silkies so come over and take a look.

I miss my DD soooo much I only see her via the skype..

her and my SIL are stationed in Japan I am due to be a Grandma any day

It takes a year to get all the paper work so I wont be seeing them anytime soon and her DH is getting deployed.. My DD dated or neighbors son for 5 years before they married high school sweethearts he is like my only son...

But Judy your DD is coming home

I will be bringing some RIR chicks and some EE chicks. I also have a pair of RIR that I will let go for $5.00 for the pair the cockerel has a bowed leg but gets around fine. These 2 have been together since hatch so I will let them go together. Trying to talk DH into selling 3 black runner ducks they are females we lost the male IF anyone is interested we will bring them. They are great layers. Also bring a few barred rock chicks
