More humane to cull? More humane to live?

You have a very difficult decision to make. If it were me and if you are able to, I would try trimming the beak to see if it is any easier for her to eat. If that works so that she can at least eat enough to be able to survive, I would keep trying. If it doesn't work and doesn't allow her to get enough to eat, then I think it would be better to cull, as hard as that is. I feel for you. Good luck with whatever you decide to do. There is not right or wrong solution, but what you feel you must do.

I am so sorry! If it were me, I would cull. I would think about her ravenous appetite and lack of feathering and think that she was always experiencing hunger pains. This is heartbreaking. If there is another option that you're open to, that is completely up to you, but if you're looking for cull emotional support, you have it from me. :hugs

If you really cannot make up your mind, you could try tube feeding her several times a day, for several days.

It would help her be well fed while you consider your options.

(I've never tube-fed a chicken, but it sounds like it's not too difficult to do. So I would try it if I thought there was a need for it.)
