When I draw, I just do it in pencil, then a thin sharpie, and colors. ( those are big projects when I have an inspiration to draw)

Cool! Do you usually color them with, markers, colored pencils, crayons, pastels, etcetera? Most of my sharpie outlined drawings fail. LOL. The sharpie usually goes squiggly on me like the pen. I guess my hand isn't delicate enough for it. XD Almost always when I'm drawing or doodling I use basic graphite pencils. They're easy to use and I can erase mistakes. (Which I make often. ) But now I'm going to try to do more with colored pencils.

Here's some pics from the trip. I made a new best friend. XD Her name is Sophia and she was my great grandma's cat. (Now she belongs to my aunt.) I've never had a cat latch onto me and love me more than Sophie did.






This is Captain. My aunt rescued him after he was dumped as a puppy in a corn field.

I really like 1, 2, 4 and 5 Thats sweet about the cat. Captain is very pretty.

What's even more precious is the story of how my aunt got him.

So, he was dumped in the corn field across from the farm. My aunt saw him but couldn't get him to come to her. Every day for about 3 months she brought him food and water and sang to him. In the late summer, she knew it was about time for the farmers to harvest to the corn in which case she also knew Captain would be killed. Then one, ordinary morning she went out with food, sat down and sang "Amazing Grace." Captain then bolted into her arms and licked her face as she cried. She carried him home and now he's a happy, healthy dog who never leaves my aunt's side.

I'm so happy! I knew I wasn't going to get the new bow I wanted for Christmas this year, so I asked my family for something else I've been wanting for months, PrismaColor pencils. I asked my family for the 12 pack of them, since they're not cheap. I believe they're about $22.00 for the 12 pack, and that's a lot of money to spend on colored pencils. We open our Christmas presents on Christmas Eve, so imagine my surprise yesterday when I opened a gift from my grandma and found not a 12 pack of pencils, but a 24 pack! Then I opened one of the gifts from my mom and dad, and found a two pack of PrismaColor colorless blender pencils to go with the 24 pack of pencils from my grandma! I was so happy!



Then I found this awesome tutorial on DeviantArt for a colorful eye done in colored pencils, so I decided to try it with my pencils. This was the result:
