I'm so happy! I knew I wasn't going to get the new bow I wanted for Christmas this year, so I asked my family for something else I've been wanting for months, PrismaColor pencils. I asked my family for the 12 pack of them, since they're not cheap. I believe they're about $22.00 for the 12 pack, and that's a lot of money to spend on colored pencils. We open our Christmas presents on Christmas Eve, so imagine my surprise yesterday when I opened a gift from my grandma and found not a 12 pack of pencils, but a 24 pack! Then I opened one of the gifts from my mom and dad, and found a two pack of PrismaColor colorless blender pencils to go with the 24 pack of pencils from my grandma! I was so happy!

Then I found this awesome tutorial on DeviantArt for a colorful eye done in colored pencils, so I decided to try it with my pencils. This was the result:

OMG I need some of those.. Even though I don't draw as much as I used to.
That looks amazing!
Reminds me of my Ex best friend that would draw amazing eyes with just pen.

I haven't been drawing as much lately either, even though I have time on my hands because of winter break. LOL . You should get them sometime! They're really nice pencils, they blend easily and lay down really nice on the paper. They're much of a improvement over the Crayola's I've been using for years.

Thank you!
Ah. :hugs I can draw decent eyes with a pencil, but not with a pen. LOL. My lines go all squiggly with a pen. :lol:

Same XD
Ooh that's good!
When I draw, I just do it in pencil, then a thin sharpie, and colors. ( those are big projects when I have an inspiration to draw)
Thanks. :hugs
Yup! Pen is not my desired utensil :lau

WOW!! That is a amazing eye. I wish I was that good in traditional art. I for some reason can draw well with the mouse but not pencils. ;-;
I have some Prisma colors that I try to use as much as possible but still I sadly don't use them often. Wish I could give them to you!
Here is a bit of something I drew.

Thank you both! I'm the opposite of you, I'm okay at traditional art, (But only if it's graphite pencils, colored pencils or Sculpty clay. I'm bad at painting, charcoal, and pastels.) but I can't do art on the computer very well. Awwww, thanks! :hugs Woah! That is so good! :love I love the shading/highlighting, and the contrast between the medium brown wings and body, and the dark reddish legs and tail feather.
