I agree. I think it depends on the piercing and the person's pain tolerance. I don't really know much though, since I just have normal ear piercings. Those just felt like a hard pinch and slight one-two second sting for me though.

They have special "guns" for it, which makes me uneasy. I might get ear piercings, but piercings anywhere else... I'm afraid you're alone on that one

They have special "guns" for it, which makes me uneasy. I might get ear piercings, but piercings anywhere else... I'm afraid you're alone on that one

Yeah. First of all, I could never walk around in a a bikini and feel normal, I'd always feel weird and exposed. Second of all, I'm a Christian so that's not really what I believe in.

Yeah, my ears were pierced at Claire's with a gun, they have special pointy starter earrings they put in them. It might be different for you, but here in the U.S. the guns are only authorized for regular ear piercings and cardilage piercings of the ear, otherwise they have special hollow needles they use for other piercings. I remember when my best friend got her nose pierced this past June, she went to a tattoo parlor and they did it with a needle. The piercing looks good on her, but for me personally, I'm not big into facial piercings, and do not want any. Anyways, if you get your ears pierced or not should be your choice, not anyone else's. I know people who don't have their ears pierced, and that's perfectly a-ok by me.

Hah, yeah. If it was hot though, I would be fine wearing a crop top. Not likely to happen here though Lol.

I had guessed they wouldn't use the gun for belly button piercings, what would they do, shoot you in the stomach with it? Don't think I like the sound of a hollow needle much either though.
