I can't wait to make The Littles(My 2016 chicks)and The Four Trio(my 2015 chicks)Birthday cakes in June, my Duck a birthday cake in July and my 7-year-old-to-be-8-Year-old-hen.

Yeah, I make them cakes every year(June 2016)

Well...most of them are good. My Amber-Link hen lost her voice and my Buff Brahma is getting picked on a lot. :/

How odd!! In all of my chicken-keeping years, I've never had a hen loose her voice!! How'd it happen??

Some insecurities about myself and my abilities, and some worries about my friends.

Awwww that's sad. I hope your Amber link gets her voice back, and your Buff Brahma gets picked on less.

My Red Sex Link/Amber Link/Red Star (or whatever you want to call her), has been/is plucking feathers out of her back again. :/ She did it last winter as well, and ended up making a quarter sized hole in her back. My gimpy hen Feathers has been sitting down a lot, I think her leg is bothering her again. (She injured it a year(?) ago after falling off the roost) But my hen Ruby is adjusting to the flock well and getting picked in less and less.

She had a really mucusy cough and she was sneezing that past few days. I think that it's related to that.
