It's really easy to teach them, I use it a lot since they free range and I can find them easily. All you have to do is when ever you give them and food just snap or whistle or clap or whatever you want and before you know it they'll be looking for you whenever you make the call

Can train ducks the same way, my ducks actually come faster than the chickens.

Yeah, I'm not sure if that would be necessary since they stay in their run. But it would be cool and might come in handy

Whistle training anything comes in handy! (Say for instance your 200 lb pig got out and decided to take a walk down your dirt road...)

Don't know what a helix is and a belly button piercing sounds so painful

This is a helix piercing: (not my ear)

And oddly, a lot of people say belly button piercings don't hurt much. One girl I know said hers hurt less than getting her (regular) ear piercings.

I trained mine pretty much the same way @Flock Master64. They come running when they hear me call them or shake their treat cup.....(or when I randomly start singing Beyoncé's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" to them, since I don't have a rooster. )
