Oh - most definitely. My whole family thinks I've totally gone bonkers. In the past 12 months, we went from never having had any chickens whatsoever to now we have 40 - and I'm really trying to convince my husband that we NEED to pick up some cream legbar babies this weekend...

I've been more than normal my whole life, so I've decided that - for once - they can embrace a little insanity. :)

Of course I have a dog, a little do nothing but stalk me all day, demand I give him lovies and home cooking. How does he earn his keep, he barks at every thing that moves, and pretends he does not know his name when i call him. He is a small dog, I love the big ones but can not do the upkeep for them any more. He is so small I really can not tell when he lifts his leg. He will try to hit the car tires but only marks the driveway. I leave the sent marking to the man of the farm. We have only one bathroom," I know right" so farmer Rob is often sent to the run of the coop to do what he needs to do and my coop is sented amost daily. ha ha.

OH GOOD GRIEF.... HAHAHA

That is my opinion. If yours is different, I'm ok with that.
YAY!!!!!! Sanity in the olympic-size swimming pool of crazy.

Oh - the danger of a post mortem snake bite is pretty much alleviated once their head has been blown completely off by a shotgun shell...
Hehehe! I might love you!

Why are you allowing your 'very young children' to run around outside with 'bare feet' if you know you have dangerous snakes around your area?! Even without the snakes they will be in danger from insects stings and scorpions. I would think the ponds are a more likely danger to you children than the snakes.
Really? Oh wow... grow a set. They're kids... its outside... that's the epitome of "natural"!!
Obviously Jack2002003 has never been to Texas.
Indeed! I think that would go for a LOT of the folks posting here. -- I found a thread just for Texans... *stoked*

Yes, I guess you could say I'm kinda a "Tree Hugger"
I am a "Kill It" Texan. I would like to be certain I am being listed in the proper category.
So... you are a "Tree Hugger Texan"? Now that IS a rare species!! I've never even heard of something like that!

I'm frankly more concerned that they'll step in goose poop than on a bee or a scorpion...

SMH...
This thread is hilarious. People at are so sensitive...
