Yes, amprolium is the right stuff. I've not had to deal with it, but this is what everyone recommends. And just to be sure i’m getting the right thing, is this the correct one?View attachment 2848864

Well, like @ChickNanny13 said, though, it could just be intestinal lining that shed off. What you might do is watch to see if there is any more "bloody poop" or if that was just a one-off, before you treat. And also see if there is any bloody stool among your other hens. If not, then it may not be coccidiosis at all.I’m just not sure how she could have gotten it from the soil because she doesn’t go out into the run yet, she’s always in the “look no touch” in the coop :/
I went crazy today looking throughout the run and coop and i didn’t see anything, just that one spot from the chickWell, like @ChickNanny13 said, though, it could just be intestinal lining that shed off. Hey y’all so today i went to check on my 5 week old chick and i noticed almost like a mucousy bloody stool. Does anyone know why this could be? This may be gross to some but i want to make sure it’s okay
I would get some Liquid Corid and treat her. Hard to tell if it's intestinal shedding or Coccidiosis, but to err on the safe side - treat her.So i should give Corid Oral Solution to the whole flock? And starting the day i give it to them, throw out any eggs they produce for 14 days?
Well that's good news anyway! @Wyorp Rock is a far better authority on this* than I am. Listen to her! There is NO WITHDRAWAL PERIOD when treating with Corid (Amprolium). You do not have to throw out your eggs.
Thank you so much!I would get some Liquid Corid and treat her. Hard to tell if it's intestinal shedding or Coccidiosis, but to err on the safe side - treat her.
Liquid Corid dose is 2 teaspoons per 1 gallon of drinking water. Give for 5-7 days as the only source of drinking water.
If she's with the flock, then the treated water will not hurt your adult hens.

(I'm taking notes!)I agree with all of @Wyorp Rock ’s information. No withdrawal time for amprollium or Corid.
