The yellow was like rolled up egg membrane, is what it felt like. The dark stuff was crumbly like hard boiled yolk.

When I have one prolapse, lay lash eggs, or looks like they have an infection, I treat them pretty aggressively with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories, but mine are pets. If I were raising birds for eggs or meat I would euthanize.
