No cukes yet.caught a lucky break.....looks like storms changed path slightly and we should be clear until 4ish! we’re thawing dinners, starting first batch of pickles, and processing buns and meaties afterall......im all ready in my july work
that looks good! we have a ton of cucumbers already and yellow squash. jalapeños already coming on strong too. we did 5+ quarts of slices and a big jar of spears. as usual though, i didn’t double check my supplies so my brine for the slices is mixed apple cider and white distilled and my spears are white distilled with red wine vinegar
I need to run my trike but the fricking rain has my yard all muddy between its shed and the street. I'm not all into getting all muddy yet I just finished it lol.
Surprisingly despite my nickname, I’m not a big fan of the mud either!!!

and of course 5 minutes or so in I get a text that says: severe thunderstorm warning
