I didn't realize that muscovies could be sexlinked like that. So which would be male in theory? I will of course be vent checking to make sure.That usually means male and female

I’ve never had a solid white duck that was anything but pure yellow when hatched . I bet @learycow an help you out.
I see black, black barred and blues. No lavenders in your picsTheir colors aren't picking up the best on camera but you can see in this pic that we definitely have some lavenders. More have hatched since this pic was taken.View attachment 2175328

Barred are yellow with colored tails. They may end up pied though since mom is@Miss Lydia I have a question for you. Of my 6 barred babies, I have 2 are that are a much brighter yellow than the others. Does this mean there is a chance of them being white with colored tails rather than barred. Or is it just a coincidence? I'm trying to choose which 2 are staying and it's so hard deciding. I want to make sure I am keeping the best ones for future breeding purposes.
Yes I meant to say blue instead of lavenderI see black, black barred and blues. No lavenders in your pics
