Love to hear about great hatches!! Congrats!!! looking forward to pics
. Good news is she has 11 maybe 12 babies and she's doing such a great job. Pictures to come later todayCan't wait to see them!So we have 11 hatched with mom, I have the finalone that I am keeping under a lamp right now. I think its shell got stepped on because it was still in the hatching process last night and was shattered this morning. Baby is doing good so far. Wrapped in a warm damp towel under the lamp talking away. Just hoping there was no damage. As for the 2 eggs that looked like they weren't ready they didn't make it. Turns out due to them being malpositioned they didn't develop properly. Good news is she has 11 maybe 12 babies and she's doing such a great job. Pictures to come later today
I wrapped it to help with humidity as it's still intact to the shell partially and wanted to make sure it doesn't get stuck to the baby. Should I just remove it from the shell the rest of the way? I dont really see any red blood vessels except where its umbilical is. I just didn't want to pull its shell off and cause it to bleed out or anything. And I can't get a bator unless ordering from Amazon. Tractor supply that's near me doesn't have them in stock unfortunatelyAwesome!! Wet towel can cause chilling why did you wrap in a wet towel? Congratulations!!
