Muscovy hatch possible trouble

@Hybridchucks
She is still in the egg, last night I put bacitracin on the membrane to keep it moist while I sleep and candled from behind her. All the veins are still there in the membrane.

How long do we wait until we assist her farther? She is breathing well and talking. No other eggs as of yet have pipped externally, I did see one yesterday move their head inside of their egg.

She is here!
I had to assist her head got stuck under her wing and she was screaming like a banshee.

@Hybridchucks

She hatched last night with help, the amber goop was starting to get hard and I was darned if I was going to loose this one to it not being able to breathe. My fiance James and I washed her down with paper towels and warm water getting most if not all of it off and this morning she was all fluffed up. Now in a brooder box doing fine and naval is gone.

I do fear out of her clutch she will be the only duckling to hatch. In about a weeks time I should have 5-6 bantam chickens hatch, would they be ok to put with her for companionship? Ps she is sooo tiny. And gets super happy and purs when she sees me.
