Mine is a new flock, but they have been together at least a couple months now. I have two hens which may not be quite old enough but five definitely are and my two drakes are mature as well. I don't see them nesting or doing any kind of courtship.

Nope they do not like anyone around when brooding I have to remove my drake to his own stall too since he shares a stall with 2 of his girls and usually they are the ones who go broody first.Do they share nests?
x2 this is all great to know. I hope yours go broody real soon for you and me, lol... so you can share the experience hereVery good to know. Thank you
I adopted my first one in early December, I think. Maybe November. Somebody dumped her at the local park or she escaped. Anyways, she was so cute I adopted her for $10 from a local pet store that took her in to find her a home. When I got her home she started cooing at me and when I would pet her she leaned into my hand and kept cooing. I was smitten and have been putting my flock together ever since. So I am fairly new to them as well. When they started following my husband around wagging their tails, he declared they were his favorite ducks. That was after just a few so I have been pursuing different colors since. Maybe I will go outside and get some recent pictures to share.x2 this is all great to know.
