i am new member.. for the past 5 days my hen has been has been slow moving standing the first 3 days, moving alittle the last 2.I separated her from my other 6 and wormed her also have her on tetracycline in water for last 4 days. She eats if i hand feed her but not alot.yesterday i had her outside for alittle while and she ate some greens but not alot of moving around for a chicken. Her eyes are fine, beak is good..mostly her comb is hot and floppy and pale and kinda white..she just doesnt move around or go crazy around food.I was out of town last week and my son took care of my flock and the weather here has also gotten colder in the last wk.my other chickens seem to be doing the same altho now i notice two of them have floppy combs..they could of been floppy last wk and i just didnt notice. Her poop is small and some yellow which im thinking could be the antibiotic..I checked for mite or lice and couldnt see any..my chickens dont seem to scratch themselves much..she hasnt laid an egg this whole time...i dont know what else to do.thanks for any advise..also im not real good on the computer!!!

shes on tetracycline in water..wouldnt she be dead by now if it was a stuck egg...days ago when i first noticed this i put a pan of hot water under her for 3hrs...later in the day i held her above a bowl of hot water for 20minutes and nothing...how long does it take a hen to get better/

Feel between the legs to the vent area for a stuck egg. it will feel like an egg under a few towels....kind of feeling.
She may need a stronger antibiotic if she has a bad infection... penicillian etc.... any other symptoms....
