So, my 8 week old fluffy and extremely brave, protective, and curious Buff Orpington, came out of her coop this morning and kept opening her mouth and made a few sounds.. they did not sound like a crow but at 8 weeks old, she is very clearly in charge of the other 5, comes out of the coop first, perches higher than the others, and seems to be defensive of them when I try to pick them up to put them on the rooster bars, versus piling together on the ground. She also has a very tall red comb and waddles in development.. So here goes nothing.. Her name is Beatrice, let's see if she's a more of a Bob 😂 Any thoughts?

I know it's very hard to tell at 8 weeks, particularly with Orps, but his/her demeanor is very suspicious 😂 if she isn't a Cockrel, she is definitely going to be head honcho. So here's to another update in 8 weeks 🙈
