Not being able to put weight on it seems to be a problem beyond splayed leg.

Hi there we made a brace and put it on the chick he has a lot more strength in his good leg but still doesn’t seem to be able to put pressure on the bad leg do I need to put the brace back on?

You only had the brace on for one day so yes I would say put it back on. I think it will take longer then just the one day.

I would say yes - make sure to keep an eye on them and help them get their strength back! It might take a while longer! You could also buy a multi-vit supplement for them that may help them regain some strength.

When only one leg is affected and it is out to the side, it could be a slipped tendon or a leg bone deformity such as varus valgus deformity. There is an article below on how to tellif it is a slipped tendon and help. Also there is another on the leg bone deformities which are not fixable:
