I should have know all along to rely on you guys for the understanding and sympathy! Normal friends don't quite get it, it takes a certain kind of person to dig us crazy, eccentric chicken lovers!

I do try to teach Alexandra about the laws of nature and think it's important she understands the food chain and laws of the animal kingdom. I'm really proud of her, she's done brilliantly!

I'll let her choose our next hennies!

I might even go out now and start repairing and renovating Peckingham palace, then there's no delay when the urge to adopt strikes!

You do all know that we will be bringing home the ugliest, tattiest, baldest and skinny birds you can imagine! We're too soft! Nothing would give us greater pleasure than to nurse and nurture these poor hens back to health and give them a proper home for life.
