Afraid I can't offer any other product suggestions. I usually let respiratory problems run their course. I've had birds with pretty rattley breathing, bubbly eyes and sneezing pull through without any treatment..... my funds don't extend to veterinary treatment for chickens I'm afraid. I've also used Vick's vapour rub on their beaks, comb wattles and throat to help open their air ways on occasion.... particularly at night when they are roosting and I use Nettex Nutri-Drops as a vitamin supplement in their water or direct drops into their beak or on a little piece of bread for really sick ones that need a boost.
If he is not eating much, he will benefit from being kept in a warm environment as he will have nothing inside him to keep himself warm. Heat lamps in chicken coops can be dangerous, so you may need to bring him into the house/garage to provide a heat source.
