the peachicks definitely had worms so that was worth it but idk about the chickens haha

figured I'd do an update

I sold a ton of POL pullets but have hopefully kept enough to keep me happy on eggs

My boys might start fighting but fingers crossed that they don't

I hatched 4 eggs from the nest that was in the horse pasture where something killed the broody. sold 2, gave 2 to a different broody when they were already 6 days old bc I was having a hard time breaking her & it somehow worked out. the chicks are much happier than they were.

I'm getting eggs consistently but I'll have to see how many I get now that I've trimmed down the flock

snowflake + 4 pullets + 1 hen
momma + 5 nine-week-old chicks
broody + 2 one-week-old chicks

some Whiting true blues and greens from McMurray in ... May I think. I'm checking frequently to try to bump more order up earlier.
