My chicken is acting strange! PLEASE HELP!!!

Hello there and welcome to BYC!

Yes she does sound broody to me too. Even though there is no rooster around, or eggs, their hormones never quit. Some birds will growl or scream at you when you reach in the nest box and touch them. It's a similar sound to "hawk alert" or some similar out burst.

You can break them of broodiness by preventing them from setting in there, but I have found it's easier on their mental state to just let nature take it's course. Most birds give up after a week or so. BUT... since she is not actually incubating any eggs, I would drag her out of the box several times a day so she eats and drinks enough, especially if it's getting hot where you live.

Good luck with your flock and welcome to ours! :)

Nothing really. Some growl and peck and others are mellow about the whole thing.

When you do put her outside does she stand and walk at all? Does she run back to the nest right away?

A test if you are inclined...
Set an egg in the nest box with her. If she starts scooting it under then she is very likely broody.

The reason I suggest the test is that her breed very rarely goes broody. I would feel bad if she is sick and we miss it. It IS the broody season.
When earlier today I moved her inside and when i let her out she ran straight to the coop. I tried the egg test and she did put it underneath her, but she didn't tuck it in all the way

Ok, thank you I think it may be too hot for her, the thermometer says it is 102 degrees Fahrenheit, she has plenty of water to keep cool and hydrated right next to her.

102 is HOT. I would do as TwoCrows suggested and get her out of the box several times a day.

Take her away from the coop so she has to go a long way to get back to that nest.
Keep an eye too in case she is hiding in the nest due to a meanie picking on her.

OR you could get her a baby chick or two from the feed store and put it near her. If she's desperately broody she may accept them. If so, she would want to teach them how to eat and drink- in this manner she would start eating and drinking herself. If you try , remove the egg first, or she may stubbornly sit on it to try and hatch it.
