My chicken is making a weird sound....

My chicken, Nellie, is making weird noises sometimes before she'll lay. My other chicken did it too, after she laid if we would pet her or something. Here is a video of her doing that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DwGuhQOa6U8

Looks just like my SS, who is definitely the most vocal of my chickens. I don't think it's distress, whatever it is. Really it sounds like a pleased-with-herself noise.

She is telling you to get away because you are disturbing her. We have one hen that makes this noise if she is in the nest box and you get near the box.
