The desert was never ending,but it was beautiful and mysterious. Pip looked at the sun. It was beating down at them,making it 105 degrees. Carrying M & M didn't make it easier. Although he was a couple of ounces,he felt like a huge chicken. They had to find a place to rest,fast. He thought. "Quickly!!" "Find a place cool!!" He called to Jack,who was leading the group. He nodded. "How about that cave over there!?" He asked,Panting. Pip looked up and nodded back,then they advanced forward. He didn't see the cave,but it was worth a shot.
A few minutes later,they found the cave Jack was talking about. It was huge,the wind had hidden its real color. "Let's go." Mini said and ran for it. Everyone followed,happily. When they got in,there was grass that was in the cracks in the bottom of the cave. There was a large puddle also,it was perfect. Almost like an oasis in a desert. The flock ran for a grateful drink before eating some grass and falling asleep....only to be woken up..very soon..

Pip woke up to the sound of mummuring. He looked around. Everyone was still sound asleep.. "Weird.." He thought to himself and started looking around the cave for the source of this sound. He heard two chickens talking quickly and quietly,like it was a secret. He followed the source around the maze of walls of the cave. Still no-one. Finally,he found the source,a waterfall in the middle of the cave! It was so beautiful,but it was very mysterious,as mist surrounded it. Pip could see two ghost figures behind the waterfall,talking. "I have to go" One said. "No" The other replied. Pip looked on in awe as the figures stepped out of the waterfall. It was Pipus and a small serama,who looked like Mini. But,they were both ghostly blue. Pipus set off and the serama watched,as he wandered towards Pip. He had to go warn the crew! Pip thought as Pipus walked by. Pipus looked down at Pip and then back,as he marched the way Pip had came.
Pip rushed passed him and did a shrill warning call just as he saw the crew. They woke up immediately,all except for Clover and M & M... "Wha?'" Thalia asked. Pip gasped. "Sounds like you've seen a ghost." Jack laughed and pointed to him. Suddenly,a chicken that looked like
Jack came from the entrance of the cave,he was glowing blue also with greek armor and a long dagger. "Attack!!" He yelled and rushed towards Pip,full force. Pip had no-where to go as the blade slid through his skin.

Dramatic..
