My chickens not sleeping at night

They are not sleeping at night since summer kicks inn standing up whenever I check

I agree with above. They're probably waking up when you check on them.
Sometimes it can take them a little while to settle down if you're checking around 6-8 o'clock

Mine are always awake when checked on. Just like people they don't like a flashlight in their face.
