Hey guys
These are just a few pictures of my chickens
I hope you like them
This is Louie, my miniature, fancy Rhode Island Red. He is the top rooster. He is 1 year and 5 months old and the SWEETEST rooster I have ever seen! He comes to his name and is very protective over his hens.
Here he is with his old mate, Tissi (Rootisseri)
And another
And another
And here he is with one of his hens, Tiny
This is my Welsummer rooster, Maple Syrup. I just found out last week that he actually knows his name! I also found out last week that he is a rooster
lol But he is a very sweet, young rooster and is very pretty.
Now this is my oldest hen. She is a very big Red Star, being bigger than both of the roosters! Her name is Tiny.
Chloe, my Delaware mix, is a very dependable hen. I know that she will help take care of the younger chickens. She is independent and brave.
And here she is with Maple Syrup.
This is Flower. She is my Barred Rock hen. She is very sweet but can be shy. When she was younger I had to put her by the food, then the water every day because oof a sprained ancle and now she knows that I'm someone that is here to help her, not destroy her.
This is my beautiful chick, Wafers. She is now 4 months old. Her mother is Tiny and her father is Louie but Louie's old mate, Tissi, was the one that layed on her all those weeks. Tissi layed on the eggs until they only had nine days left until they were due to hatch. That day a snake got in the coop, killed Tissi and ate all of the unhatched eggs. Wafers and her sister, Coral Rose, were the only survivors. Here is Wafers.
First, here she is as a chick.
This is a picture I took three weeks ago.
And here is the picture I took last week.
And lastly, is Coral Rose. She is a Black Cochin/White Japanese mix. She is ACTUALLY Tissi's chick. She was layed by her and all. She looks just like her too. Sadly, at the moment, i only have pictures of her as a chick but, I will post more pictures when I get them.
She is the one in the front (the middle one is Wafers)
And that's it.
