I had one of those ideas - you know the kind - where you just have to see if it will work? This thing is made up of afghan stitch, done with an afghan hook, and then the pattern is cross-stitched on top. I had seen another pattern where the theme was woven ribbons, but I wanted to try it with a Christmas theme. Because I was making it up as I went along, it wound up being a whole lot more stitching than I expected! I call it "Jingle Bells" (hint: look at the musical score!)
