What I see is looking good. You are doing a terrific job so far. The advice about bracing for the portable is spot on. If I am looking at your setup correctly you have the rocks/dirt held in by 4x4 posts. Is this correct? If it is it isn't bad. Concrete just makes it sturdier is all. If roofing is making you nervous (especially peaked) consider a flat slanted roof (one side higher than the other). It is easier to do yourself. Ok here is the best I can do to talk through shingles. Anybody butt in and add stuff if I forget it. Put up the plywood you are using, next you will lay tarpaper held down by staples, add edge guard/dripguard, next start a row of shingles at the bottom with 1/4inch overhang attached upside down with roofing nails that are not longer than the depth of your plywood. This will prevent leaks. Next row overlap the first row of shingles so that they are cover completely, then the next shingle row will be down to the visible line on the shingles. If no lines bring shingles down to the notched area and attach. Offset the notches. Hope this helps. If you have more questions just ask and I can ask my hubby what to do. Don't let anyone keep you from doing what you want. You are doing terrific so far.

what a relief

. After that contractor left, I did feel very discouraged and didn't do anything today. Went back inside and kept on thinking and trying to figure out how and see other alternatives. I don't mind taking out 4 posts that I already put and do it with concrete but then the question is, do I fill in 2ft of hole all concrete ? My luck, I'll if I leave it the way I did with stones and dirt, after I finish everything, it will collapes on me. Before this, if you check my BYC page, I've made 9 supporting poles and 16 ft long 2x4's to nail in the wavy plastic roofs. We had 36 inches of snow in 1 day and the roof was still there. After the storm, the roof was still there, it did not collapes. After a while, when I looked outside, the roof is gone. It flew about 30-40 ft away, way away, over to the other side of the fence (side of the yard) with the snow on top of it. It didn't collapes as I though could be possible but who knew it can fly like that

. So you see, my luck isn't very, I should I put it, good !

.

For tomorrow, possibly make a trip to homedepot once again and getting 80 lbs of concrete mix. putting up the polesand attaching the panels. Then starting on the coop that would be on the side of the run but having the same roof. I want to build something like this but much much bigger https://www.backyardchickens.com/forum/uploads/48502_dscn0469.jpg.
Is
my plan ok or should I bee doing something else instead ?

out of curiosity, if I do make it slented, since the back black fence is 6', should be right be 4 or 5 ft ? Or should I get 10ft posts and dig in 2 ft and making it 8ft front ? But I already made the 6ft tall panels, cutting them is easier then taking almost everything apart and making it 8ft tall.

I think you are doing a great job.
If you are talking about slanting your roof, here is a pic of how we started doing ours.
More pics on my coop#2 page...also good for ventilation.
