Her name is Emmy Lou Yeah that’s smart I’ll check to see where the hot spots are I don’t think a box of chocolate would cause this lol and yes she is the sweetest girl in the world Could this false pregnancy cause harm to her if she has this?

No, false pregnancy just causes the hormones to act up and then typically the dog goes through it and that’s the end of it..but it leaves no damage...just gets the owners hopes up...our dog gained weight, nipples grew, we thought she was about 18 days away when we took her to the vet to see how things were going....but, there were no lasting effects

How about a warm epsom salts bath? Do any of you think that would be a good idea? She could be constipated, and even if not, it would be relaxing, right? Couldn't hurt? Can you get her into a tub of nice warm water and have her lie down in it for a bit? Maybe cool water would be better since she's hot. What do y'all think?

Only thing about the. Epsom salts is that it is very cold and some dogs are opposed to the blow dryer...you don’t want to bring her temperature down right now...I would rather you go with a baby enima than a bath right now if you think she’s constipated. They are easy to do, and gentle on the dog

I just came across this thread, I sure hope your pup is feeling better today, if not I pray you can get her into a vet. I don't think a bath would be a great idea, but maybe a cool damp wash cloth applied to her forehead would help cool her down a bit.

Good morning! She didn’t eat this morning so I put some food on a flat tray and raised it to her head and then she ate some but not all of her food. And Yes she went to the bathroom this morning and it was normal. I’ll keep updating you. Thx

Did you get a vet scheduled? I hope she gets better soon! I wouldn’t do the cloth on her forehead, they sweat thru their paws. Maybe wrap her paws in a cool damp cloth, and if she hates baths maybe just put her in the tub with 3-4inches of cool water for her feet. Less stressful.

She will get in like next week. I have not taken her temperature i don’t have anything on hand rn. I’ll try the paw thing. She’s been not hiding as much today which is good, but she is in there now.
