My favorite Hen has Bumblefoot

What is the recommendation for treating this?
The vet says I need to soak her feet 2x day with Epsom salts and Betadine.

Hmm there maybe something like a thorn or splinter inside of those bumps. Can you relate why the vet thinks just soaking is going to solve that?
If you have a vet available my recommendation would be to see if he/she thinks there is something in those bumps that need to be surgically extracted by the vet.
If not, in my experience the protocol should be antibiotics and silvadene cream (both prescribed by a vet)

It is an infection. If the soaking doesn't help or the cysts get bigger they will lance them and give antibiotics. She is to be isolated and not supposed to jump from heights.
