Whew this was like a good mystery novel........I can put the chicken forum down now and go to bed.

I would be wanting revenge for sure though!

Order an ostrich egg and and leave it in his coop.

kidnap his hens and leave a bunch of grocery store frozen chickens lined up on the roost in their place

blow out an egg, seal the hole up with wood putty or something so you can't tell and leave him a hollow egg

replace his eggs with dyed eggs or plastic easter eggs

replace his eggs with tiny little quail eggs

egg his house

you've got a lot of options.

You should have his wife (not you) mention to him how you're really excited about getting this phone call from the vet you had the eggs sent to. They were boiled with a very gold-rich water so if your husband played this prank on you that you think he did, it means you both are going to be millionaires once you can get the pipes up....

I think you should cook up something really evil for him. You can take that suggestion literally if you want. Cook something really really awful for him. Invite them over for dinner and serve him some terrible thing that looks like everyone else's dinner, but his has some "special" recipe to it. Have some buddies do a 'news story' and post it on youtube- call your friend and tell her that they missed the broadcast because you were too busy.

You sold your chickens to big AriCorp so they can reproduce this strain of chicken....

get one of those HUGE checks and write yourself a check for $1000 each.

You know like a Publisher's Clearing house thing?

and go over how you are sure its true because everyone said so and you sent eggs off for testing and they came back 'naturally soft boiled' ...

The newscaster can ask, what if that's a prank?

You can say well after AriCorp gets their money back you'll sue the prankster.
